The ethos of BisonMade can be summed up in its simple, but meaningful tagline: Designed for Life. Sebastian Sanderius founded BisonMade with the objective of providing luxury goods without any pretension, while still providing some class and distinction to a man's everyday activity. Sebastian also wanted to make products that were a throwback to an earlier era, when things were made to last a lifetime, like his grandfather's era. Back then, products were made proudly in the USA and were built to last.
BisonMade takes this approach with everything that they make, right down to their wallets. They use only the finest leather available (they source their leather from the 100 year old tannery - Horween), and craft the leather using techniques that ensure a quality build every time. Their pieces are also purposely kept simple and uncomplicated and are meant to be handed down from father to son. The word heirloom is one word that Sebastian would use to describe BisonMade's products. They are crafted with high attention to detail and with premium raw materials, to ensure that each product eventually fits that bill.
When Sebastian was asked about the meaning of their name, BisonMade, he replied that he wanted a name that was characteristic of America and that was tied somehow to America's beginnings. The name needed to also convey a sense of masculinity, which does fit considering a Bison's massive and muscular frame. With a name fitted for products geared towards men, and with a sense of luxury and style, BisonMade is a brand that can be trusted to deliver the highest quality men's wallets.
